About Peter Harman, Esq.
Peter Harman is a lawyer in Hood River, Oregon. He focuses on legal matters involving estate planning, real estate, and business, providing practical advice that people can rely on. Peter began his legal career at the Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C. In the private sector, he worked for a law firm in Northern California where he focused on water rights, public agencies, civil litigation, and business and property issues. He then spent several years managing all legal, administrative, and financial aspects of a large, family-owned orchard and packing enterprise in Hood River, Oregon and Porterville, California.
He opened his own law practice in Hood River in 2023. He is licensed to practice law in Oregon, Washington, and California.
Peter studied psychology at Colorado College (B.A., 2005) and law at the University of California School of Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) (J.D., cum laude, 2011). He is on the board of directors of Diamond Fruit Growers, Inc. in Hood River County, and sits on the boards of several education-related nonprofits.
